What can I do to make your stay wick candle in the pot with hot glue?? PLEASE I need help!
So im a gel candle maker again. And I just do what the instructions say. I hotglue zinc wick bottom. But when I pour the gel it in the pot UN-glue or whatever. And I'm struggling with trying to get the wick to remain in the bottom of the pot and right. What can I do? And why is it do?? He does it every time! Also how do I melt the wax, but keep at 200 degrees, because it keeps going this way and i cannot seem to while the low setting on the stove to keep it at 200 or even less than 230. Any other tips / tricks or things to avoid please let let me know! Thank you to everyone who answers this!
Hot glue is the best way to secure your container candle wicks. The reason the glue between you, because you've invested gel wax too hot. Instead of heating the wax gel more direct heat, you should use a thermostatically controlled griddle or melt in a "Presto Pot." Both are available at any store that sells small appliances (such as Wal-Mart).
