Do only certain mattress makers offer a two piece box spring?
I've seen some beds where the box spring comes in two pieces, which makes it easier to move into a room with sharp 90 degree turns. However, Sam's Club doesn't seem to offer a two piece box spring. Is this even possible for a queen size bed? Or was the bed I happened to see composed of two twins put together?
The box spring you saw was probably a King size as these are almost always 2 singles that you put together. Yes it would be nice if someone came up with a 2 piece queen size but there isn't a large enough market for them. Because the King takes to singles there is always a market for the singles by themselves. Have you seen the low profile box springs for queeens they are about 3" wide but really heavy. It gives you a little more room to make those corners.
