Will a Reed Diffuser make a parakeet sick?
I just got a vanilla reed diffuser, and i'm just making sure that it's not gonna harm my bird in any way. It's away from his cage but in the same room. Will this make him sick?
My Vet said we could get away with a ReedDiffuser.Ive had one in my house for years,and I have 18 Birds.The problem comes in if you dont have good air flow in the room,which concentrates the scent.I have also used a good quality soy candle in the next room to my aviary without any problems,but you must not blow your candle out,or let the wick get too high,trim every time before burning.I also have the plug in air freshners --I use alot of Yankee Candle products,they dont seem to irritate my Birds whatsoever.I dont believe a Reed Diffuser should cause any problems in a medium to large room.
