How to prepare Liquid Concentrated Baby Formula?
Ok so my baby is 3 months old and ever since she was born I use to boil her Nursery baby water and then add the liquid concentrated formula to it. I would let it stand till it got room tempearture and then store away in the fridge. But my mother in law is telling me it is not necessary to boil the Nursery baby water and that I could just mix it with the formula and it would be alright and I would save time. I dont know if I should try it like she is telling me or keep doing it my way. Anyone got any advice?
Well they recommend that you boil the water till 6 months, but if I bought the nursery water I only boiled the first three months then started to give it straight from the gallon! Both of my kids had reflux and were on lactose free formula so they were pretty sensitive so I think your baby will be fine, they distill the water and if you boil the water are you might be boiling away the fluoride, but if your still unsure give your pediatrician a call!
