Do they have clear plastic 8 1 / 2 x 11 containers, which can store stacks of paper?
We are re-organizing our marketing department office. We use tons of advertising literature that is stored in boxes on shelves (our room looks kind of literature a library). Most of these brochures and data sheets are printed on 8 1 / 2 x 11 companies. There are over 500 different all the leaves must be inventoried on a regular basis. Our shelves are custom fit and exactly three, 8 1 / 2 x 11, in boxes. It would be useful replace the cardboard boxes with clear plastic bins the same size as the level of paper inside could be seen at a glance, even remotely. This would expedite the inventory process. Does anyone know if the plastic cases of this type and size exist? I did extensive research online, and bin systems, storage of paper, and inventory control systems, but they have not had any luck yet. Can you help me?
Obviously a clear acrylic storage would be your best bet. You can certainly try to adapt acrylic storage systems or even your own system manufactured ... it will not cost as much as you might think because the cost of engineering / Plastic cutting is not about the cost of engineering / steel cutting, for example. There are many manufacturers of acrylic on the Internet ... you can choose based on location, or get quotes from several different shop for the best price. Remember to pre-grooved acrylic sheets that acrylic panels could slide into ... this will allow you to easily a) See the offer, b) "reconstruct" an empty cell, and c) configure your bin to accommodate any size stock.
