What is the best design for a tunnel?
The tunnel must be 10ft wide and 7ft tall. The design must be able to expand into a larger cavity that is 25ft(w) X 30 ft(L) X 10ft(t) and back again to 10ft wide to 7ft tall. The sediment is a mixture of soil, sand, and 0-5% clay. The task is to be accomplished by an automated robot so safety for life and limb not an issue. Leads to resources also appreciated.
Do you really expect to get something that detailed form a free online forum? and if you did, how would you know it wouldn't collapse since you obviously don't know how to do it yourself so you would not be able to check to see if the design was actually safe.
