Can 1st/2nd degree burns be classified as "great Bodily Injuries?"
It was only like 2 inches wide, and the skin was red, and a little blistered. Is it a GBI? Can anyone give me examples of cases where a GBI took place?
An example of 'great bodily injuries' would be those suffered at the hands of a drunk driver, or the loss fingers or limb in a workplace accident. Those injuries usually require medical attention and significant recovery time. There may be permanent damage that affects your day to day quality of life and you may never be able to perform at the same level as you did prior to the accident.
