Can you help me identify the singer of this version of "Amazing Grace"?
I have the song "Amazing Grace" on my computer but I am unable to identify the artist of this particular version. Because this song has been recorded many times, it has been difficult trying to identify which version is. The song is 3 minutes and 16 seconds. The singer is accompanied by an orchestra (not probably not reduce, but just in case!) and sounds like he could be of African-American. I would appreciate any help you can give me. No sound sample? It really could be anyone, and without even hearing recording, I do not see how one could even begin to guess. Can you tell us where you got the song - how did it get on your computer? You really can not identify a person's race or ethnicity by their singing - singers can change the way they Pronounce words or how they sing to adapt the style of music they will perform. If you downloaded this song somewhere, maybe you can locate the original site. The recording could even be an unknown (to the general public) singer who has made a demonstration of some type, or perhaps it was recorded from a church service (where many bands have Megachurch actual bands).
